Is Kairi Sane Facing Backstage Heat Over Liv Morgan’s Devastating Injury?

Kairi Sane WWE

Liv Morgan had special plans for Kairi Sane on WWE RAW.

The Pirate Princess had gotten the best of Morgan and her tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez, in consecutive weeks in singles competition.

Rodriguez did not accompany her, as she was attacked by Rhea Ripley earlier in the night.

In the initial seconds of the match, Kairi Sane went for a leg takedown, which resulted in Liv Morgan getting caught up and falling awkwardly on her elbows.

One-half of the women’s tag team champions then immediately withdrew towards the guardrail, clutching her shoulder.

As confusion spread, the ringside announcers said that a doctor was attending to the former women’s champion.

The broadcast then cut for a break, and upon return, it was announced that Morgan could not continue, declaring Sane the winner.

There Is No Heat On Kairi Sane

A top star getting injured derails the company’s plans, and the same has happened with WWE.

Liv Morgan had entered a feud with Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, potentially setting up a match at the all-women’s Evolution 2 PLE.

As per reports, Morgan could be out for weeks or even months.

In such situations, there is usually heat on the other wrestler for not protecting their opponent. However, Kairi Sane is facing no heat backstage.

According to a report by PWInsider, WWE has shut down conspiracy theories, calling the incident a “freak accident”, and there is no heat on anyone.

Rhea Ripley, who had feuded with Morgan in the recent past, tweeted:

Asuka, who had been out of action for over a year, returned on RAW this week, competing in and winning the first round of the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
