Injury Confirmed For Ex-AEW Star After 7-Month Absence
A former AEW star is reportedly injured, as confirmed by their tag team partner.
Kiera Hogan quit the promotion in October. Her last match in All Elite Wrestling was on February 10, 2024, during the Collision taping, where she lost to Deonna Purrazzo.
In 2025, she had wrestled in only one match, which came on ASÉ Vegas while teaming up with Tasha Steelz against Charity King and Danni Bee in a losing cause.
Steelz recently appeared at a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, where she confirmed that the ex-AEW star was injured.
Shout out to my Fire, Kiera Hogan. Heal up soon, girl… [H/T: Fightful]
The host then told her that they were unaware of the former AEW star’s injury. Tasha simply replied with a ‘yes.’
Tasha and Kiera have previously teamed up in TNA, even winning the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships on two separate occasions.
At present, the timeline for her recovery and in-ring return remains unknown.
Injury Setback Forces AEW Star To Undergo 3rd Surgery Of 2025
Brian Cage recently revealed that he needed another surgery.
Cage had suffered a torn quad and needed surgery. He had previously undergone the knife for long-standing knee problems.
The AEW star, who is a member of the Don Callis Family, took to social media to share the unfortunate update via video.
I busted my ass and have done everything imaginable to come back as quick and as healthy as possible.
That being said I have some news. News that nobody would want to hear. There is an issue on the operation I had on my right knee. I was fighting an uphill battle that no amount of therapy, modalities, stem cells, peptides, etc we’re going to fix. I have to go back under the knife for them to try to fix or correct the situation.
Cage confirmed that he was struggling to cope with the news, but admitted that it was the right path forward, and that he would rebuild to become a better version of himself.
Being upset and depressed upon hearing this news is beyond an understatement. It’s maybe question a lot and bring a bond a bunch of doubt. I hate having this what was me mindset, and hopefully when they get in there it’s best case scenario. And even if it’s worst case, once we get this fixed and back on track I’ll pick up the pieces I’ll rebuild and become a better version of “the machine” once again.
