Injured WWE Star To Return On SmackDown (Spoiler)
An absent WWE star will soon be back in action.
Braun Strowman hasn’t been seen on WWE television since being defeated in a Last Monster Standing Match by Bronson Reed on September 30th.
After the match, it was revealed that Strowman had torn his groin and was set for a spell on the sidelines. However, he’s going to be back in the ring very soon.
On the December 6th edition of SmackDown, Nick Aldis confirmed he’d booked Carmelo Hayes in a match against an unnamed opponent after the former NXT star said he wanted a match. The bout is slated for December 13th.
According to a report from Sportskeeda’s Dr. Chris Featherstone, it’ll be Strowman who faces Hayes on the show.
Braun Strowman was initially cleared to return several weeks ago. The star featured in a six-man tag team match on November 15th after SmackDown went off the air.
At the taping, Strowman helped Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio see off the Judgment Day.
Another WWE Star Close To Return
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Charlotte Flair will be back in action “imminently” after spending more than a year out injured. Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a match against Asuka in December 2023.
According to the report, Flair could even make her return to television during Saturday Night’s Main Event.
