Injured WWE Star Seemingly Teases Return At Survivor Series

A WWE star is gearing up for their imminent in-ring return.

Chad Gable has not appeared on the Stamford promotion’s programming since June 2025 due to an injury.

During his last appearance on the June 23 RAW episode, he was featured in a backstage segment, wearing a sling, approaching Penta, who attacked him, thus writing him off.

It was later revealed that Gable would require surgery and subsequent rehab before returning to competition full-time.

Gable’s gimmick saw him double up as El Grande Americano, a masked luchador, a role then taken up by Ludwig Kaiser.

It was recently reported that Chad Gable had returned to the WWE Performance Center. His latest update comes with Survivor Series: WarGames just around the corner.

Whether or not he makes his presence felt at the premium live event remains to be seen.

Nevertheless, at the time of his injury, Gable had gained incredible momentum and was hugely popular among the WWE Universe. There’s no reason to dispute that it won’t be the case whenever he ultimately returns.

Chad Gable Teases Return At WWE Survivor Series

Chad Gable’s in-ring return is one of the most anticipated ones, and it could happen at WWE Survivor Series, or at least that is what he has teased.

The 39-year-old wrestler recently shared a workout video on his Instagram stories, with Black Sabbath’s War Pigs, which is the official theme of Survivor Series, playing in the background.

He captioned the post:

When volume is low. I refuse to sacrifice a rep. This one felt like an hour.

Elsewhere, the current El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) has been on a journey of his own.

While he recently lost the WWE Speed Championship, earlier won by Gable as Americano, Kaiser has managed to build a faction around the gimmick called Los Americanos.
