An injured WWE star is already back in action.

While much of the attention was on WWE’s traditional Madison Square Garden Boxing Day event and CM Punk causing chaos wearing a towel (Yes, really) the company held a second event in Jacksonville, Florida.

That event in Jacksonville was headlined by a clash between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens with the likes of Nia Jax, Bayley, Tiffany Stratton, and Bianca Belair also in action. The show also saw the in-ring return of Jimmy Uso who had been on the injured list after breaking his toe during WarGames at Survivor Series.

On his comeback, Jimmy teamed with his brother Jey in defeat to Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa.

While Uso has already returned to the ring, the two other injured parties from WarGames face a much longer spell on the sidelines. During the match, Tonga Loa suffered a torn bicep, and he quickly underwent surgery with the injury expected to keep him out of the ring for several months.

Meanwhile, Bronson Reed looks set to miss WrestleMania 41 after undergoing surgery on a broken foot. Reed suffered the injury after jumping from the top of the double cage and through a table in the ring.

Another WWE Star Closing On Comeback

According to a new report, Charlotte Flair is close to making her WWE return. Flair has been out of action since suffering a major knee injury in a match against Asuka on SmackDown in December 2023.

According to a recent report, the former Women’s Champion has been filming content with WWE geared towards her return as well as training with a rising NXT star.

It’s been claimed that Flair will return as a heel, with a slightly darker take on her Queen persona.
