Injured WWE Star Finally Back In Action On Raw
One injured WWE star is back in action after three months on the shelf following an attack on Raw.
On the 5th of August edition of Monday Night Raw, Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY picked up a win over Sonya Deville who has aligned herself with Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler since her return to WWE. However, Deville’s trio had the last laugh.
Deville, Stark, and Baszler laid out Dakota Kai backstage during the show but it seems there was a reason Kai had to disappear. Michael Cole noted on commentary that following the attack on her, Dakota Kai faces 8-10 weeks out of action as she has to undergo surgery on a torn meniscus.
But now she’s back in action.
Dakota Kai Back In Action On WWE Raw
On the 11th of November edition of Raw, Dakota Kai returned to in-ring action as she joined IYO SKY and Kairi Sane for a six-woman tag team match against Deville, Baszler, and Stark. Kai got a measure of revenge on the group that took her out as Damage CTRL picked up the win.

Dakota Kai has not had great luck when it comes to injuries during her WWE career. In December 2018, Kai suffered a torn ACL that kept her out of action for nine months. She suffered the same injury in May 2023 and only returned to the ring in March 2024.
