Injured WWE Star Confirmed Out For Several Months

WWE has finally confirmed that an injured star is going to be out of action for many months.

WWE was forced to abandon Liv Morgan’s Raw match against Kairi Sane in a matter of seconds as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion suffered a separated shoulder. Sane was declared the winner of the match, but the injury could have more far-reaching consequences.

The previous week, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella was involved in an altercation with Liv Morgan, which many believed was building to a match at the upcoming Evolution show in July. Reports suggest a former WWE star could be set for a huge return to be part of that match.

Reports suggested Liv Morgan will require surgery, meaning that any upcoming plans won’t include her. And now WWE has confirmed her condition.

Liv Morgan Injury Addressed By WWE

Corey Graves explained the situation as he sat in for Pat McAfee again at the announce table on the June 23rd edition of Raw and confirmed that Morgan will be out for months:

Liv, as every superstar does, did her best to protect herself upon impact. Unfortunately, watch Liv’s elbow; it jammed her right shoulder. We understand that Liv Morgan is going to miss several months of action.

WWE has seemingly made plans for the Women’s Tag Team Championship in Liv Morgan’s absence, but no announcement has been made about the title as yet.
