An injured WWE star has shared a message of positivity as they continue through the rehab process.

The May 19th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw featured a triple threat match between Rhea Ripley, Zoey Stark, and Kairi Sane.

During the match, Stark attempted a missile dropkick off the top rope on Sane, but the timing was off, and Stark landed horribly. The match turned into a singles match, which Ripley won.

Stark went on to have surgery to repair torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. She also revealed that surgery to repair the damage had taken three and a half hours instead of the scheduled two hours.

When Stark was in NXT in 2021, she suffered multiple knee injuries that also included tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus, which means she has been through the long rehab process before.

Zoey Stark Shares Message With WWE Fans

In a video on Instagram, Zoey Stark gave an update about how she can walk again after her most recent surgery, but it’s also a frustrating process.

“What is up, Stark Marks? It’s been a little bit since I posted so I thought I would get on here and give you guys an update, and to be completely honest, it’s been both mentally and physically exhausting and frustrating and I’m in a spot right now with my knee where it’s not wanting to bend and give me the full range of motion that I am looking for, and as much as that sucks, it’s okay. I will push through this. I will find a way around it. I will get to where I need to get.

But boy is it frustrating. But there’s always a silver lining in a dark cloud, right?

So there’s a couple things I’m happy for. I’m walking again, riding a stationary bike. We got a new puppy, Mad Max. Love that little guy. Seeing all of my animals, Sly the cat, Kai, and Max and them all play and get together, that lights my heart up so, that’s the joy of my day. But we’ll get through this.”

Zoey Stark has been a part of WWE since early 2021 and joined the main roster in May 2023. She has been aligned with Trish Stratus in the past and also was in Pure Fusion Collective with Sonya Deville & Shayna Baszler, but both of those women are no longer in the company.
