Injured AEW Star To Return “Soon”

AEW Dynamite set

One AEW star that has been on the shelf for several months due to injury could be on their way back to the company sooner than later.

The Bunny last competed in an AEW ring back on the 8th of February 2023 edition of Dynamite when she took on then-AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter. However, since then the two-times IMPACT Knockouts Champion has been noticeable in her absence by the side of The Butcher and The Blade.

Speaking on Josh Nason’s Punch-Out podcast, The Butcher gave an update on The Bunny’s condition, confirming she broke her orbital bone during her match with Hayter but hopes to return to the ring soon:

“She (The Bunny) hurt her orbital. She like broke her orbital and yeah, she’s doing really good. I’m sure she’s gonna be back soon. That’s the thing is when something like that — I think she came from an injury too so she was injured for a bit then had a couple matches and got injured.

“That’s gotta crush your confidence, you know what I mean? But the good thing is since she’s been gone, we’ve been kind of building this new little faction thing up and so when she comes back, it’ll be awesome.”

In recent months, The Butcher and The Blade have found allies in Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford with the three men competing in trios matches in both AEW and Ring of Honor.
