31-Year-Old Injured AEW Star Finally Returns On Collision
On August 16, 2025, AEW Collision delivered a night full of dramatic moments at the Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Among the evening’s most talked-about surprises was the return of Harley Cameron. Her return marked the end of her three-month injury hiatus. She had been absent since suffering a broken nose during an altercation on May 28 on AEW Dynamite.
During this week’s Saturday Night AEW show, Kris Statlander clinched victory in a high-stakes $100,000 four-way match against Penelope Ford, Anna Jay, and Julia Hart. After Statlander’s win, chaos erupted as several competitors, Thekla, Skye Blue, Queen Aminata, Megan Bayne, and Penelope Ford, swarmed the ring, igniting a massive brawl.
That’s when Harley Cameron emerged, fitted with a new protective mask and a chained guitar head. She charged into the fray, swinging her chained weapon and making her enemies retreat backstage.
AEW’s Harley Cameron Seeks Retribution
Harley Cameron was sidelined for the past three months after suffering a legitimate broken nose. In a no-disqualification tag match at the May 28, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite, Megan Bayne slammed the 31-year-old star face-first into the steel steps.
It was a planned storyline spot used to explain Cameron’s need for time off for surgery and recovery. She underwent nose surgery and shared updates about her difficult recovery. Her absence lasted from late May until this August show, a total of nearly twelve weeks.
Shortly after her surgery, Cameron posted on social media: “Well, I can’t see much right now… but REVENGE is starting to look really good…”. The post referenced her rivalry with Megan Bayne, who caused her injury by slamming her onto the steps during their tag team showdown. The cryptic message signaled that her main focus upon returning is to seek retribution against Bayne, whose actions took her off TV.
