Injured AEW Star Makes Surprise Return As Ricochet’s Partner
One AEW star has made their long-awaited return to the company and they had revenge on their mind on Dynamite.
Ricochet has his sights set on Konosuke Takeshita’s AEW International Championship but The Don Callis Family is doing everything they can to neutralise that threat.
On Dynamite in Manchester, Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher were set for tag team action against Ricochet and a mystery partner. That sent the rumour mill into overdrive with suggestions that Mark Davis – Fletcher’s Aussie Open partner who recently returned to AEW after a long injury layoff to confront him about his new attitude following his betrayal of Will Ospreay.
Ospreay was also mentioned as a potential partner with his old rival and Kenny Omega’s name was even mentioned as he is yet to return to action. Although, Kenny Omega recently teased his in-ring return not taking place in AEW.
However, in the end, Don Callis screwed Don Callis as Ricochet found someone a little closer to home.
Powerhouse Hobbs Ready To Break Backs In AEW
Ricochet revealed that his partner was someone whose contract with The Don Callis Family ended on October 4th and they were very upset that they had been ignored while out of action due to injury. Powerhouse Hobbs then made his long-awaited return to action as he and Ricochet picked up the win.

Powerhouse Hobbs had been on the shelf since April 2024 when he suffered an injury in a match with Jon Moxley on Dynamite that forced him to undergo surgery on his knee.
