Injured AEW Star Forced To Wait For In-Ring Return
An injured AEW star remains out of action.
Juice Robinson has been on the sidelines since suffering a broken fibula in a freak accident during a match with Will Ospreay in late October 2024.
The former NJPW star quickly underwent surgery, but he’s largely stayed out of the spotlight since getting injured.
But in April, a positive update did finally emerge when it was confirmed that Juice Robinson was about to start in-ring training. This led to speculation that he’d be back in the All Elite fold sooner rather than later.
Juice Robinson’s AEW Comeback Delayed
According to a new report from Fightful Select, Robinson was backstage at Double or Nothing; however, that doesn’t mean an in-ring return is imminent. The star is said to be further away from a comeback than previously hoped. The report doesn’t offer an explanation as to why Robinson has seemingly suffered a setback.
Elsewhere, Keith Lee has revealed that he’s confident he’ll wrestle again, despite being out of the ring since December 2023. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion responded to a fan who wished him well on social media.
Lee said that he doesn’t know when, and doesn’t know where, but he’s confident that he’ll get back in the ring.
