Indie Star “Destined” To Join WWE
An independent star thinks they’re destined to become part of WWE.
In July 2023, Zilla Fatu — the son of late WWE star Umaga, made his in-ring debut with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling. The veteran has played a key role in Fatu’s young career, training him at his own facility in Houston, Texas.
There was an immediate buzz around the star, not only because of his famous father but also because of connections to The Bloodline. Fatu’s cousins The Usos and Solo Sikoa are currently dominating the main roster as the storyline around the faction continues to feature on Raw and SmackDown.
During an appearance on The Wrestle Era Podcast (via Apollo HOU), was asked whether he could join WWE and The Bloodline in the near future.
At some point. I will say maybe. Because if I go in there, you just never know, I might go against them, and they try to recruit me, and I’m like [makes money sign]. I would love to be there with my family, but Triple H, the creative team, the whole WWE organization, they have a way to incorporate me.
So whatever they want to incorporate me into the storyline or me doing my own thing or me and R-Truth [laughs], you just never know. So right now, I just can’t call it, but I know that I’m destined to be there,”
WWE Interested In Zilla Fatu
Interestingly, it seems Zilla Fatu might have a very good reason to feel so confident. Back in August, it was reported that WWE “has their eyes on him” as he continues to progress.
At the time Fatu was largely appearing with GCW, but just a month later the company announced he wouldn’t be working with them for the foreseeable future.
Fatu was most recently in action on October 26th at Limitless Wrestling Frresh Blood where he teamed with Dezmond Cole to defeat Aggro and Channing Thomas.
