InDex Reunite As New NXT Women’s Champion Crowned

NXT Stand & Deliver played host to a wild ladder match for the NXT Women’s Title as Indi Hartwell captured the championship for the first time in her career.

Hartwell first became involved with Dexter Lumis when she was part of The Way in NXT alongside Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Austin Theory. Lumis and Hartwell were married on the premiere episode of NXT 2.0 in 2021 in a memorable moment.

The NXT Women’s Title was the subject of some uncertainty in recent weeks after champion Roxanne Perez collapsed following a win over Meiko Satomura. While that was part of a storyline, there was said to be concern within WWE over her health. Perez, however, was able to compete and she defended her championship against Hartwell, Gigi Dolin, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, and Zoey Stark in a Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver.

Gigi Dolin was on course to capture the championship for herself but she was stopped by her former Toxic Attraction partner Jacy Jayne who cost her that chance.

With the ring cleared of competitors after Tiffany Stratton wiped out most of the women at ringside, Indi Hartwell was left alone in the ring. Dexter Lumis emerged from under the ring and hoisted his wife on his shoulders to climb the ladder and allow her to capture the title.
