IMPACT Wrestling has been enjoying its tour of the UK that will see one name added to its roster after a surprise signing announcement.

IMPACT Wrestling has been riding a wave of momentum ever since the company announced at the end of the Bound For Glory event that it is reverting to its previous TNA name beginning in 2024.

The company then embarked on a tour of the UK – a region that has long been a stronghold for the company – that saw hot crowds entertained by stellar line-ups of shows. Newcastle-upon-Tyne played host to the Turning Point special that will air on IMPACT Plus on November 3rd and was headlined by Will Ospreay taking on Eddie Edwards.

Youngest In Charge in IMPACT Wrestling

At IMPACT’s sold out show in Coventry, Scott D’Amore signed 19-year-old Leon Slater to a “long term TNA contract.”

Slater has wowed audiences in the UK with his skills and recently won the British J Cup in Revolution Pro Wrestling, a tournament previously won by the likes of Jushin Thunder Liger, El Phantasmo, and Speedball Mike Bailey. The Bradford native’s athletic, high-flying style will fit in perfectly with the X Division, a cornerstone of the original incarnation of TNA.

Leon Slater wrestled all four nights of IMPACT Wrestling’s UK tour sharing the ring with UK stalwart Mark Haskins as well as Trey Miguel and Frankie Kazarian.
