IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2023 Results

IMPACT Wrestling presented Bound for Glory 2023 with Alex Shelly defending the World Title against Josh Alexander and several more big matches.

This year’s Bound for Glory event took place at Cicero Stadium in Chicago.

During the pre-show, they had the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame inductions of commentary team Mike Tenay & the late Don West as well as the original Knockout, Traci Brooks. Congratulations to them. The pre-show with the Hall of Fame inductions are available on IMPACT’s YouTube channel.

The Knockouts Tag Team Title match between champions MK Ultra (Killer Kelly and Masha Slamovich) (c) and challengers Deonna Purrazzo and Tasha Steelz was taped before Bound for Glory. It will likely be a Digital Exclusive match.

The commentary team was Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt.

Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2023 PPV Results

Match #1: Chris Sabin defeated KENTA to retain the X-Division Championship.

Match #2:PCO defeated Rhino, Steve Maclin, and Moose in a Monster’s Ball Match.

Match #3: ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) to win the Impact World Tag Team Championships.

Match #4: Will Ospreay defeated Mike Bailey.

Match #5: Jordynne Grace won the 20-person Intergender Call Your Shot Gauntlet by last eliminating Bully Ray. By winning that match, Grace receives a trophy and a contract that she can invoke anytime within one year for a championship match of her choosing.

Match #6: Trinity defeated Mickie James to retain the Knockouts Championship.

Match #7: Alex Shelley defeated Josh Alexander to retain the Impact World Championship.

After the match, Alex and Josh shook hands and hugged. Josh also put the World Title around Shelley’s waist as a sign of respect.

A video aired featuring top Impact stars outside talking about the history of the company. At the end, a video aired revealing that they will be using the name TNA (Total Nonstop Action) Wrestling again.

When the video stopped, Impact President Scott D’Amore was in the ring saying: “We’re back.” The fans chanted “TNA” repeatedly as the show went off the air.

The TNA name returns at the January 13th Hard to Kill PPV.
