“The Universe Always Has A Plan” – IMPACT Star On Possible WWE Return
Another Superstar could be making a return to WWE.
Ever since Triple H took over creative for World Wrestling Entertainment, there have been loads of talent comebacks, and at the current stage, there’s no telling how many more there will be and who could possibly be back. One of the names that has been swirling in the rumor mill has been Taya Valkyrie, who was known as Franky Money during her time in NXT, with herself even feeling like the possibility is there.
During an interview with Senior News Editor Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc., the 39-year-old said that she will “never say never” about making a comeback to WWE, a promotion that she once called home last year.
In February 2021, Valkyrie agreed to a contract with WWE, and then eventually would be advertised in April for her debut in NXT. The then-Franky Monet would make her in-ring debut in May, and later in the year in September, she took part in a NXT Women’s Championship match. However, she would end up being released by the company in November because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With how her time in WWE ended, Valkyrie said to Wrestling Inc. that her “attitude has changed” regarding what happened, and that a return to the company is possible with Triple H now being in control.
“At first, it was just shocking, and I was upset, and I was mad, because I never felt –- I still don’t feel -– like I got an opportunity to shine. And there were a lot of things that were completely out of my control, obviously, such as the pandemic.”
