Ilja Dragunov Busted Open On WWE SmackDown Once Again

Former WWE United States Champion Ilja Dragunov has been putting his body on the line ever since he returned to the promotion and won the US Championship from Sami Zayn.

He had an entertaining run with the title and defended it against several promising wrestlers each week, which led to him being left bloodied for the last two weeks.

His US title defense against Tomasso Ciampa left him with a bloodied nose, while his tag team match against DIY left him with a cut on his head, and for the third week straight, he was busted open on the blue brand tonight.

He wrestled an incredibly entertaining match against Carmelo Hayes, where he eventually lost his title after an entertaining 70-day run with the belt.

However, he injured his nose once again during the match tonight after Hayes reversed an attempted Superplex with a cutter from the top turnbuckle, leaving Dragunov with a bloodied nose, for the second time in three weeks.
