Ignored AEW Star Paying For Someone Else’s Crime
One AEW star has claimed they have been ignored by the company and feel like they’re being punished for someone else’s crime.
Beefcake Boulder was fired after AEW learned he had been arrested for battery by strangulation in January. Boulder – real name Thomas Wansaw – was arrested on January 14. The victim has been identified as his fiancée.
During his time in AEW, Boulder was part of the Iron Savages tag team alongside Bulk Bronson who is better known as Bear Bronson. The team had wrestled in AEW since 2020 and had recently also been aligned with Jacked Jameson.
Bear Bronson issued a statement distancing himself from his tag team partner following his arrest, but it seems his own prospects in Tony Khan’s organisation have come crashing to a halt.
Bear Bronson’s AEW Career Looks To Be Over
On social media, Bronson has now claimed he feels ignored by AEW and feels like he might be paying for his tag team partner’s crime:
Trying my best. I’m forgotten & ignored, just being honest. Almost feels like I’m paying for someone else’s crimes. But whatever, I’m doing everything I can. My wife, family, fans, wrestlers & many others have been there for me lifting me up & pushing me to succeed on my own.
When one fan offered their support when Bronson returns to AEW or Ring of Honor, Bronson noted that he doesn’t think he’ll be wrestling for either promotion again:
Don’t see that happening. Just the truth. Good soldier, always did what was asked of me, but now because of obvious reasons they don’t seem to want me anymore. Fine. Is what it is. Happens to plenty. But I’m a pro wrestler & I need to wrestle. So you can find me on the indies.
Since Beefcake Boulder’s firing, Bronson has not competed in AEW or ROH, while Jacked Jameson’s career has continued in ROH where he is now part of the Frat House with Griff Garrison, Preston Vance, and Cole Karter.
