Hulk Hogan’s Son Suing Over Sex Tape Dcoumentary
Hulk Hogan’s son Nick is suing a familiar name over the release of a documentary that focuses on the sex tape that almost derailed Hogan’s career.
Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71 in July following a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home. WWE led tributes to Hogan, but given his checkered past, the tributes were a lot more muted than they otherwise might have been.
Since Hogan’s death, he’s hardly been allowed to rest in peace. Hulk Hogan’s widow is considering a lawsuit for medical malpractice related to his passing. Hogan’s daughter Brooke has been open about her opinions of foul play in relation to her father’s death.
Hulk Hogan’s Copyright Infringed Says Lawsuit
Now Nick Hogan has filed a lawsuit on behalf of his father’s estate in a federal court in Florida. Hogan is suing Bubba the Love Sponge, a radio personality best known as the man whose wife appeared in a leaked sex tape with Hogan that went public in 2012.
Bubba is behind the upcoming documentary ‘Video Killed the Radio Star: The Untold Story of the Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Scandal,’ and Nick Hogan claims the film infringes on his father’s copyright and trademarks and wants to stop it from being released.
Claims in the lawsuit allege that the documentary features unauthorised images and video footage that can be seen in a recent trailer released by Bubba.
It was additional footage from the leaked sex tape that included Hulk Hogan using extremely racist language, which sullied his reputation for the rest of his life.
