Hulk Hogan Allegedly Wouldn’t Last A Minute In Fight With Ex-WWE Star
Hulk Hogan continues to remain a polarizing figure in wrestling.
This time, an ex-WWE star called him out, challenging the company’s brand ambassador for a shoot fight.
Paul Roma, who wrestled for the then-WWF in the 80s and early 90s, has unfinished business with Hogan and wants to face him, preferably in an octagon.
He also claimed that he would “slap the taste of brother out of his mouth.”
Roma cited an incident where the Hall of Famer refused to meet a disabled child for a meet-and-greet as the reason behind his dislike for him.
Roma minced no words, appearing on his Power & Glory podcast, when challenging Hulk Hogan.
I think he has a couple of years on me, maybe two. I’m willingly to do it. I’m 66 years old man. Let’s have at it. I’m ready to go.
He also addressed Hogan directly, urging him to be “man enough to give me a response.”
Ex-WWE Star Claims Hulk Hogan Would Not Last A Minute In The Fight
Also on the podcast was ex-WWE star Mario Mancini.
Mancini is renowned for being the Undertaker’s first-ever wrestling opponent on WWF Superstars.
When asked what he thought about the whole Roma-Hogan situation, Mancini too was straightforward.
I, you know, Hogan, he wouldn’t last a minute with Roma. He’s, like, crippled. I think he had a couple of hip replacements.
I’ll put it this way; I would have put my money on Roma in ’84 and I’ll put my money on Roma in 2025. [From 24:27]
Hogan gained notoriety all throughout his wrestling career for backstage politics. His most recent appearance in WWE was during the brand’s Netflix debut, where he was heavily booed by the audience.
