Hulk Hogan had one wish that went unfulfilled before his passing at the age of 71, according to one of his close friends.

On the 24th of July, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan passed away following a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home.

WWE led tributes to one of their biggest ever stars with ten-bell salutes for Hogan taking place on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Cody Rhodes acknowledged Hogan’s complicated legacy with his own in-ring tribute. Hulk Hogan had been caught using racial slurs a decade before his death, with many in and out of the wrestling industry feeling that Hogan had never properly apologised for his actions.

Hulk Hogan Wanted To Wrestle One Last Time

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Senior Editor Bill Apter, former WWE star and Hogan’s friend B. Brian Blair explained that Hogan had a wish to get back into the ring one last time before he died:

Terry [Hulk Hogan] always had that fire in him. He still, to his last breath, dreamed about going back in the ring again. ‘One more, one more, one more.’ I have a saying, ‘You can take the wrestler out of the ring, but you’ll never take the ring out of the wrestler.’ Once you’re in the business for a while and you’ve made a living in it and you’re used to the lifestyle of the wrestling industry, it’s hard to get away from it.
