Hulk Hogan Undergoes Surgery After Losing Feeling In Hands
Hulk Hogan recently underwent another surgery after losing feeling in his hands.
The 71-year-old has been dealing with various health issues. His procedures are aimed at improving his quality of life after suffering years of abuse to his body while wrestling.
Around June 18, Hogan was back in the news, this time due to a rumor.
Radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge claimed that the Hulkster’s condition was grave
He also said that calls were being made to family members to visit him and say goodbye.
Hogan’s reps jumped into action immediately, dispelling all similar reports. Former WCW president Eric Bischoff, too, offered clarity.
On the latest 83 Weeks episode, Bischoff provided more insights into Hulk Hogan’s condition, claiming that the recent prognosis was good.
Look, he’s had some issues. You know, he went in for surgery. I don’t think he would mind if I shared this, but you know, he’s had issues with nerve problems in his back and spine, up in the cervical part of his neck, and he went in because he had a difficult time feeling his hands. And he went in for surgery and came out of the anesthesia and boom, he had feeling in his hands again. He’s really excited.
He also condemned insensitive rumors that had been recently spread.
You know, the rumors of the family gathering in the hospital, that’s the part that was just all bulls**t. But yeah, he had a bit of a setback because of neck surgery, but he’s going to kick out like he always does, and he’ll be fine.
Hulk Hogan Sued A Medical Institute In 2013
In 2013, Hogan filed a lawsuit against Florida’s Laser Spine Institute for medical malpractice.
He claimed he was made to undergo unnecessary procedures, costing him various payments of $100,000.
He further said that the surgeries only made his condition worse. Ultimately, he had to revert to getting a traditional back fusion surgery.
The former WWE champion won the lawsuit after the verdict was directed in his favor in 2016.
