Hulk Hogan explained why he felt the need to make it known that he was supporting Donald Trump to become the next President of the United States.

The Republican National Convention (RNC) ended on Thursday in Milwaukee. The world of pro wrestling was involved in the festivities because two-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was there to support WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump.

During a memorable promo that took place before Trump’s speech ended the night, Hulk Hogan claimed that he wanted “Trumpamania” to run wild on America. Donald Trump, who was the 45th President of the United States, is attempting to become the 47th President of the United States by competing for the job against current US President Joe Biden. There are questions about Biden possibly leaving the race due to his age, but he’s currently still in the race.

The Hulkster’s speech referenced WrestleMania 4 and 5 taking place with Donald Trump in the front row with Hogan saying that he’s known Trump well for over 35 years. Hogan also made references to some of his most famous rivalries with WWE Hall of Famers like Andre The Giant, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior.

In an interview with Fox News before he took the stage, Hogan said he couldn’t sit back anymore without saying anything, especially after former US President Trump survived an assassination attempt last Saturday in Pennsylvania.

“I got tired of remaining silent. I sat back and watched the borders collapse, I watched the economy collapse, I watched the price of gas, the price of food. Everything just does an upside-down flip.”

Hulk Hogan Says Donald Trump Getting Shot At Led To His Decision

As Hogan continued, he referenced the assassination attempt on former President Trump.

“And when they took a shot at my hero, Donald Trump, I realized that I couldn’t be silent anymore. I had to step up. I had to be a real American, just like all these real Americans here and Donald Trump. You know, I have a voice, too, and I want people to know. It’s time to talk, it’s time not to be silent anymore.”

It should be noted that Hogan saying “they” took a shot at Trump is an insinuation about the shooter’s ties. It has been reported that the deceased shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks was a registered Republican while President Biden has said that people shouldn’t make assumptions about the shooter’s motives.
