Hulk Hogan Involved In New $7 Million Business Venture
Hulk Hogan is keeping busy with a new multi-million-dollar business venture.
WWE legend Hulk Hogan was recently back in the news after Bubba The Love Sponge claimed he was close to death during another hospital stay. The veteran has been dogged by health problems in recent years; however, claims that he was on his deathbed were proven to be premature.
Hogan’s team later revealed that while he’d been in the hospital, it was related to an earlier neck surgery, rather than something life-threatening.
Regardless of his health status, Hogan is showing no sign of slowing down.
Hulk Hogan Involved In New Bar
According to a new report from Page Six, a new 9,000 square foot Hulk Hogan-themed sports bar is set to open opposite Madison Square Garden. The bar, named Slam, will be owned by Rich Rosen of American Sports Bar Entertainment and located at 461 8th Avenue on the corner of 31st Street.
The venue will be using Hogan’s name through a licensing agreement and he’s expected to be a regular, but he won’t have a stake in the business
Rosen revealed that he pitched the venture to Hogan during an autograph signing.
“I basically waited 5 hours in line to get two seconds with Hulk Hogan. I came with an 8-by-11 glossy picture of Madison Square Garden, and in the picture is our venue… I walked up to Hulk, I dropped the picture in front of him.
That’s my venue, that’s the Garden, and you’re my new partner,”
Hulk Hogan became synonymous with Madison Square Garden during his 1980s heyday, with the iconic venue playing host to several of his most famous matches.
