Hulk Hogan Movie Scrapped

The Cult Classic Movie Hulk Hogan Claimed He Was Nearly The Star Of

The long-discussed Hulk Hogan movie is off.

Back in 2019, it was reported that Chris Hemsworth was in line to play Hulk Hogan in a movie about the WWE legend. However, despite Hogan’s insistence that Hemsworth play him in the film, the project never really got going.

In an update in late 2023, Hogan noted that production had yet to begin.

Speaking in a new interview with Variety, director Todd Phillips all but confirmed that the movie had been scrapped.

“I love what we were trying to do, but that’s not going to come together for me,”

Hulk Hogan Embroiled In Another Racism Controversy

Hulk Hogan has found himself involved in yet another racism scandal after making a series of comments about US Vice President Kamala Harris. During an event to promote his new American Made beer, Hogan took aim at Harris before blaming his comments on being under the influence.

In a short video online, Hogan can be seen interacting with the crowd while doing what is effectively a Steve Austin impression, getting fans to chant “What?” As the video progresses, Hogan asks whether people want to see him bodyslam Kamala Harris before adding “Want me to drop the leg on Kamala?”

Continuing on, Hogan says “Is Kamala a chameleon? Is she Indian? Ok, I like it!” He then mocks Native Americans by raising his hand and saying “How.” In response, he adds “gonna get heat for that one.”

In 2015, Hogan was removed from the Hall of Fame and fired by WWE after a video of a racist tirade from 2007 went public.
