Hulk Hogan is back in the news and dreaming big once again.

In a bizarre recent video, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff teased a new wrestling project with a mysterious third man.

Jumping headlong into the nWo blueprint, the pair attempted to roll back the years as they vowed to shake up the world of professional wrestling one more time.

On April 30, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff revealed they’d partnered with Izzy Martinez to launch Real American Freestyle Wrestling. The announcement was met with collective bewilderment on social media, with some dubbing the news the biggest let down ever.

Hulk Hogan Has Big Plans For Real American Freestyle Wrestling

During a new interview with Fox & Friends, Hogan talked up the new venture and claimed the ultimate goal is to be as big or even bigger than both WWE and UFC. He suggested American Freestyle Wrestling will take control of an “underserved market.”

“Yes it is. It’s freestyle wrestling and it’s professional now because we get to pay the athletes. Izzy is our linchpin. He has trained all of the Olympic athletes, all the NCAA champions, all the college kids that really have made it. He was our source to pull in all these great athletes and get everybody signed. Our goal is not to be competitive with Dana White and the UFC or the WWE, but to be just as big or bigger because this is an underserved market.”

Real American Freestyle Wrestling is set to hold its inaugural event on August 30, 2025.
