Hulk Hogan Linked With WWE Return
According to a new report, Hulk Hogan could return to WWE.
On December 14th, 2024, WWE brought back Saturday Night’s Main Event, and the company heavily leaned into the show’s famous past. The special featured a decidedly old-school presentation harking back to its 1980s glory days, with appearances from several legends, while Jesse Ventura worked as a special guest commentator.
Ahead of the show, there were reports that there had been some discussions about Hulk Hogan returning to WWE, given his close association with that era. However, the special came and went without him.
But that doesn’t mean potential appearances from Hogan are off the table.
Hulk Hogan Discussed Backstage
In recent days the logo for Hogan’s Real American Beer was spotted in a photo of a new WWE ring canvas, sparking speculation the Hall of Famer could be on his way back to the company. And according to a new report, that could well be the case.
As reported by Fightful Select, “Hulk Hogan has been discussed” for some upcoming appearances, although Fightful isn’t aware of any specific dates. The veteran appears in a commercial for Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio on January 25th, although there’s no word on whether he’ll be there.
One source said they’d be surprised if Jesse Ventura would be on the same show if that was the case. There have been well-documented issues between the pair going back decades.
During an interview back in September, Hulk Hogan revealed he’d signed a new five-year contract with WWE. The comments surprised many as Hogan had been met with split reactions during many of his most recent appearances.
