Hulk Hogan has explained how his pre-wresting career set him up for success as a pro wrestler.

The legendary Hulk Hogan is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer due to his incredibly successful career that started in the 1970s before he really broke out in the 1980s, did very well in the 1990s and wrapped it up in the 2000s.

After retiring as a wrestler, Hulk Hogan has talked about how multiple back and knee surgeries have altered his life and said he should have quit after 20 years in the business.

During an interview with Live The Outbound Life, The Hulkster spoke about how important it was for him to work in front of a live crowd as a musician before he became a pro wrestler. He also spoke about the current WWE wrestlers who begin their careers in NXT in front of a small crowd before making it to the big time.

Sometimes these wrestlers will be at the Performance Center, working with Shawn Michaels and whoever is there, and as soon as they get in front of a crowd they’re like … way behind the curve. This is a whole learning curve.”

“What I had was, playing music for ten years and being in front of a live audiences and live crowds — small, very small, it wasn’t very big at that time — you had a rapport with the crowd and you weren’t afraid to walk up to a microphone and talk or to be over animated and have fun on stage when you’re playing, really get into it.”

“Being in front of that crowd, I wasn’t spooked the first time I went out to wrestle. I wasn’t … [thinking] ‘Oh my god, there’s people out there’. Before you go and start wrestling in Madison Square Garden, you better put in some serious seat time, otherwise you’ll poop the bed when you get there.

Hulk Hogan Endorses His “Hero” Donald Trump At RNC

The Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last week featured former President Donald Trump speaking in front of a big crowd as he hopes to become US President again. Prior to Trump’s speech, The Hulkster did a ten-minute wrestling promo encouraging people to vote for Trump as President.

Hulk Hogan did his best to explain why he was supporting Trump in this November’s Presidential election.

“I got tired of remaining silent. I sat back and watched the borders collapse, I watched the economy collapse, I watched the price of gas, the price of food. Everything just does an upside-down flip.”

“And when they took a shot at my hero, Donald Trump, I realized that I couldn’t be silent anymore. I had to step up. I had to be a real American, just like all these real Americans here and Donald Trump. You know, I have a voice, too, and I want people to know. It’s time to talk, it’s time not to be silent anymore.”

While on stage, Hogan did his shirt-ripping routine as well although instead of being shirtless, he revealed a Trump shirt.
