Hulk Hogan & Jesse Ventura Still Expected For WWE Show
Despite silence on the two WWE Hall of Famers from the company, Jesse Ventura and Hulk Hogan are still expected to appear on an upcoming show.
In December 2024, Jesse Ventura returned to the announce desk in Uniondale, New York for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ventura was a central part of the specials back in the 1980s and he recently signed a Legends deal with the company. Jesse Ventura has since suggested Vince McMahon’s departure paved the way for his return.
Hulk Hogan has appeared in advertising for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25 suggesting he’d be at that show. Many eyebrows were raised over Ventura and Hogan sharing the same space after their well-documented issues.
Hulk Hogan told Vince McMahon about Jesse Ventura’s attempt to start a wrestling union which ultimately led to Ventura’s departure from WWE.
Hulk Hogan Still Expected For SNME
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer touched on Ventura’s status for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event as WWE has made no more mention of him despite him being told he’d be on all the SNME shows in 2025:
All I know is the last I heard, which was the day of San Jose, was that he was on. He was told he’s on all the shows in 2025. So if he’s off, it’s a detail within the last week and a half. They didn’t push him, but yeah, he was told he’s on every show. It was definitely pointed out to me that him and Hogan are going to be on the same show.
Hulk Hogan was booed out of the building when he appeared on Raw’s Netflix debut so it remains to be seen how WWE will use him as part of the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event show.
