Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff Unveil Biggest Letdown Ever

Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are back together and now they’ve revealed who their third man is as they launch a brand new venture that has not set the world alight.

2025 has been quite the adventure for Hulk Hogan. On January 6, he appeared on Monday Night Raw as WWE’s flagship show debuted on Netflix, but fans were not pleased to see him and Hulk Hogan was loudly booed for the entirety of his segment.

Just a month later, Hulk Hogan and his American Made beer were subject to a lawsuit, and in March, his ex-wife, Linda, publicly took him to task in an emotional tirade in a social media video. In response, his daughter, Brooke Hogan, released a statement claiming she’d been physically and verbally abused since childhood.

Now, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff have teased a surprise in a video harking back almost thirty years to their NWO heyday. In it, they teased a new project and a mysterious third man.

Hulk Hogan Launching Real American Freestyle Wrestling

Hogan has now revealed his and Bischoff’s third man in another bizarre video where they introduce Izzy Martinez, an accomplished wrestling and UFC coach. Martinez mentions Real American Freestyle Wrestling as the trio’s apparent new project, all while Hogan drops cash on his head.

Martinez, who has previously coached top UFC stars such as Jon Jones and Holly Holm, noted in the video that the trio had the cash and the talent to be successful.

Real American Freestyle Wrestling is being touted as an “unscripted freestyle wrestling league injected with storytelling and colorful characters.” The promotion has signed up former UFC star Ben Askren, Olympian Kennedy Blades, and national champion Zahid Valencia.

Hulk Hogan noted in a press release announcing the formation of the new company, of which Hogan is described as the Commissioner:

Real American wrestlers are some of the most disciplined, elite athletes in the world — but until now, they haven’t had a true professional stage to showcase their greatness. Eric and I know how to build the kind of heat that grabs attention and we’re going to make Real American Freestyle wrestling a must-see for fans.

Eric Bischoff, labelled as the Chief Media Officer, is quoted as stating:

I intimately understand and appreciate what it takes to perform at the level these athletes do, and I was always curious why this sport wasn’t recognized for the potential it has. The stories we have to tell at Real American Freestyle and the accomplishments of the wrestlers are extraordinary. Not only will the audience be entertained by the product but the entire sport will be lifted as a result.

The reaction online from wrestling fans has been muted at best. Many have described the reveal as one of the biggest letdowns ever, but quite what they were expecting from the 71-year-old Hogan and the 69-year-old Bischoff at this stage of their careers is a mystery.
