Hulk Hogan Docuseries Moving Forwards On Netflix
Hulk Hogan died on July 24, 2025, at age 71 from a heart attack, following cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home.
Netflix was filming a WWE Hall of Famer docuseries on Hogan since 2024, capturing over 20 hours of interviews shortly before his death.
During a recent interview with John Ourand on The Varsity podcast, Gabe Spitzer, Netflix’s Vice President of Sports, confirmed that production is still ongoing, even after his death, including planned tributes, but did not specify a release date.
Hulk Hogan’s Son Might Join Pro Wrestling
Last month, Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, sat down for an interview with TMZ. He was asked if he’d follow in his father’s footsteps and join the pro wrestling business.
Nick replied that he has always had a great love for the business, and by being part of it, he feels more connected to his father. This might be a hint that he may join WWE in the future.
You never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you never know. I’ve always loved the business. Being around that environment makes me feel that much closer to my pops.
Hulk Hogan first appeared in WWE (then WWF) in November 1979, though he gained massive fame after signing full-time in late 1983 under Vince McMahon.
He was a six-time WWF Champion and the first to win consecutive Royal Rumbles (1990, 1991). He headlined eight of the first nine WrestleManias (1985-1993), including iconic wins over Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III and Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
