Hulk Hogan Claims He Narrowly Escaped The Same Fate As Bruiser Brody In Puerto Rico
Hulk Hogan shared a harrowing experience from the late 1980s, claiming that his life was threatened after a wrestling match in Puerto Rico.
During an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Hulk Hogan recounted an unsettling incident that he claims occurred just months before the tragic death of fellow wrestler Bruiser Brody in the same venue. Hogan explained that the event took place after a match he had with “Macho Man” Randy Savage, which had successfully sold out the stadium. Reflecting on the atmosphere after the match, Hogan said:
So I go down to Puerto Rico and we have the match, we sell out the stadium, me and Macho Man go back to the room and we go walk in his room and his room is trashed. All of a sudden, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna go to my room.’
As Hogan proceeded to his own room, he encountered a terrifying situation.
When I opened the door, he’s sitting there and because he’s still really active and he’s sitting there with a gun and he said, ‘If you ever come back here, I’m gonna kill you.’
Hogan’s account bears an eerie resemblance to the fate of Bruiser Brody, who he claims was killed in the same locker room just a few months later.
Which AEW Star Did Hulk Hogan Recently Criticise?
Hulk Hogan criticised AEW’s Adam Copeland for a spot where he jumped from the top of a steel cage and broke his leg in the process. Hogan said that he didn’t need to do that because he was already over and someone who performs such a stunt only do it because they aren’t over enough.
