Hulk Hogan Makes Wild Claim About Bobby Heenan, Randy Savage And Bret Hart

Hulk Hogan Said Got Him

Hulk Hogan has given his take on a group of wrestling legends.

Bobby “The Brain” Heenan is fondly remembered as one of the greatest managers and colour commentators in history. The Hall of Famer changed the game when it came to heel managers as he rubbed shoulders with many of the biggest names wrestling has ever seen.

Heenan made himself a legend across spells with the AWA, Georgia Championship Wrestling, and the WWF before becoming an announcer in 1984. The star’s stint on the microphone in the WWF and later WCW allowed him to shine in front of a whole new generation of fans, only enhancing his legend further.

However, Heenan actually got his start in the industry as a wrestler in the early 70s and he continued to occasionally lace up his boots until 1991.

Despite Heenan’s in-ring career very much taking a backseat to his announcing and managing, in a new interview with Barstool Rasslin’, Hulk Hogan claimed he was better than Bret Hart, Macho Man, and Ricky Steamboat combined.

“He was better than Bret Hart, Macho Man and Rick Steamboat combined. He was better in the ring than anybody I’ve ever seen.”

Hulk Hogan Still With WWE

Despite an increasingly scandal-hit career, Hulk Hogan recently announced he’s signed a new five-year contract with WWE.

In the words of the man himself, the deal covers “licensing and merchandising stuff, and ambassador stuff.”

The WWE Hall of Famer went on to say that he’ll be there if the company needs him for WrestleMania.
