Huge Title Match And More Announced For WWE RAW
Night of Champions is in the books for another year, but WWE has another major title match ready for Raw.
WWE Night of Champions saw John Cena retain his WWE Championship against CM Punk after interference from Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. Rollins seemed intent on cashing in his Money In The Bank contract, but he had to settle for making sure Punk didn’t leave Saudi Arabia with the gold.
There was a new champion crowned on the show as Solo Sikoa captured the United States Title from Jacob Fatu. Sikoa had plenty of help in the form of the returning Tonga Loa and the debuting Hikuleo. However, Hikuleo will be known under a different name in WWE.
Tag Team Gold On The Line On WWE Raw
Now Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has revealed on social media just what is planned for the June 30th edition of WWE’s flagship show. Pearce reiterated that the show in Pittsburgh will see The New Day defend the World Tag Team Championship against The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Pearce also revealed that Sami Zayn and Penta will team to face Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, and that a battle of the League of Nations will also take place as Sheamus goes one-on-one with Rusev.
#WWERaw GM @ScrapDaddyAP is here with official announcements ahead of #RawOnNetflix tomorrow night live from PITTSBURGH at a special start time of 6PM ET/3PM PT!
