It’s all change in the women’s division as Asuka has been presented with a new WWE Women’s Championship belt as the era of Raw & SmackDown titles appears to be at an end.

The company recently introduced the all-new WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions where Seth Rollins won the title by defeating AJ Styles. There was a change for Roman Reigns as well as it seems The Tribal Chief has one less title to hold aloft as he received a new WWE Universal Title belt from Triple H to replace the two belts he previously held.

On SmackDown in Des Moines, Iowa Asuka was presented with the new WWE Women’s Title belt to replace the Raw Women’s Championship she previously held. But the champion did not get to enjoy her new hardware for long as she was interrupted by a returning Charlotte Flair.

Flair laid down the challenge to the champion and the match was made official later in the night with Charlotte Flair getting her title shot on the June 30th edition of SmackDown in London, England, one night before Money In The Bank takes place.

However, things could be complicated by former Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair who was unhappy with WWE official Adam Pearce after she was previously promised a rematch against Asuka. Whether she is added to the match in the weeks to come remains to be seen.
