Huge WWE Star Calls Out Vince Russo: “That Guy Is An Idiot”
This WWE star thinks former wrestling booker Vince Russo is an “idiot” hanging on to the wrestling business.
Seth Rollins is as straightforward as they come. His honest takes are something that fans crave, and he had many such takes on a recent podcast sit-down where he provided his two cents about former bookers Vince Russo and Jim Cornette.
Russo is known for his booking of storylines in the style of larger-than-life television, including edgy storylines and unpredictable and illogical plot twists, especially during his tenure as an early Attitude Era writer in WWE and as head writer in the now-defunct WCW(World Championship Wrestling), which led to the promotion’s downfall and takeover by WWE. His booking has been criticised by many wrestlers and wrestling personalities.
Cornette, on the other hand, is Russo’s opposite in terms of perspective. His approach prioritised in-ring integrity and the actual wrestling over outlandish soap-opera-like TV segments.
Both men currently host wrestling podcasts where they review WWE shows.
Seth Rollins Prefers Jim Cornette Over Russo
In his appearance on the Jay Mohr podcast Mohr Stories, Rollins confirmed that he doesn’t like either individual, but prefers Cornette as he has worked with him.
He stated that Cornette hates Russo with a passion.

The host goes on to rhetorically ask Rollins if anybody likes Russo other than himself. Rollins said he knew no such person and went on to say that Russo was an “Idiot” and was just hanging on to the wrestling business to keep himself afloat.
