Huge Update On Roman Reigns’ WWE Future Amid Continued Absence
Roman Reigns’ WWE schedule has been a mystery ever since he became The Tribal Chief and worked part-time.
That being said, his rare appearances worked in his favour, and any advertisement of his appearance is a guaranteed ticket-seller.
His latest appearance was at Survivor Series: WarGames, where he was a part of team babyfaces consisting of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and himself. They went up against Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, Brock Lesnar, and Drew McIntyre. Unfortunately, Austin Theory interfered in the match as a mystery man and cost Roman Reigns and Co. the victory.
Roman Reigns’ next appearance
While The OTC’s next appearance is not set in stone, according to Self Made Pro during the January 5th, 2026, episode of Self Made Sessions, he will soon begin making SmackDown appearances.
Roman is going to make appearances on SmackDown again soon. I can tell you that. [H/t: Ringside News]
The former Undisputed WWE Champion is being considered for a title match against Cody Rhodes; however, that might not be at WrestleMania 42. Originally, plans were to have Reigns vs. Rollins, but Seth Rollins’ shoulder injury put a halt to those plans.
On the other hand, Roman Reigns vs. The Rock could also be a match for WrestleMania 42 as well, but this is going to be a direction WWE pursues if The Rock decides to return to WWE TV.
