Huge Title Match Announced For WWE Superstar Spectacle In India
Jinder Mahal has revealed the first match taking place at WWE’s Superstar Spectacle event in India.
The huge event will take place on Friday, September 8th in the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad
This will be the first time the company has held an event in India since December 2017 when they held a live supershow in Delhi which was headlined by Triple H getting the best of the Modern Day Maharajah.
WWE was scheduled to return to the country in January 2021, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they instead held an India-themed Superstar Spectacle in the Thunderdome to mark the country’s Republic Day. That show was Drew McIntyre and Indus Sher defeating Jinder Mahal and The Bollywood Boyz.
Now, speaking to Sportskeeda, Mahal has revealed the first bout of the 2023 edition of the event, which will see Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn defending their titles against Indus Sher with Mahal in their corner.
