Huge Title Match Added To WWE SmackDown

Another title match has been confirmed for WWE SmackDown.

In recent months, Carmelo Hayes has been locked in a rivalry with Andrade with the pair currently locked at 3-3 in their series of matches. It’s believed a seventh and deciding encounter is on the way, but not quite yet.

While dealing with the former AEW man, Hayes has also had his eye on LA Knight and the United States Title. Ahead of his match with AJ Styles on October 4th, Knight told Hayes that he’d give him a title shot if he could get past the veteran.

In the end, the match was called off after AJ Styles landed awkwardly, and speculation about his injury status has swirled ever since.

However, General Manager Nick Aldis has now confirmed on social media that Knight will put his title on the line against Hayes on the October 11th episode of SmackDown.

Roman Reigns Set For WWE SmackDown

Meanwhile, it’s already been announced that Roman Reigns will address fans on his return to the blue brand. Reigns is sure to have plenty to say after the return of The Rock at Bad Blood after he and Cody Rhodes defeated The Bloodline in the main event.

Elsewhere, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles against NXT stars Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend.

Although he appeared at Bad Blood, The Rock recently hinted that fans might have to wait to see him back on WWE TV, commenting that he’ll see everyone “down the road.” Despite this, it’s been reported that a Triple Threat Match between Rock, Reigns, and Rhodes is “on the table” for WrestleMania.
