Huge Tag Team Match Announced for WWE RAW
On the May 12, 2025 episode of WWE RAW, AJ Styles and Finn Balor went head-to-head in a singles match. This was booked after Dominik Mysterio asked The Prince to take care of The Phenomenal One on his behalf.
As the singles match progressed, The Judgment Day members tried to interfere in an attempt to provide Balor with the advantage. However, their efforts were neutralized by Penta who delivered a Mexican Destroyer on Carlito off the back of McDonagh.
This distraction helped AJ Styles execute a Phenomenal Forearm on Finn Balor to secure the victory.
AJ Styles and Finn Balor will face each other on WWE RAW for a tag team match
It seems that the feud between Styles and The Judgment Day isn’t over yet. While The Phenomenal One has declared his intention of pursuing the Intercontinental Championship, he needs to get past Dirty Dom’s faction members.
WWE has taken to social media to announce a tag team match for WWE RAW. AJ Styles and Penta will team up against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on the May 19, 2025 edition of the flagship show.

This match will play a huge role in Styles’ chances of going after Dominik Mysterio and the Intercontinental Championship.
However, it seems that Finn Balor doesn’t quite view The Phenomenal One as an absolute rival. He might be agreeing to battle Styles to fulfil his commitment towards the faction.
The Prince had acknowledged Styles on social media following their encounter from last week’s episode of WWE RAW. This gesture is a high form of mutual respect between the competitors.
