Huge Spoiler For Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio At WrestleMania 39

Rey Mysterio will live the dream of fathers of tearaway sons all over the world when he – reluctantly – fights him in a match at WrestleMania 39.

The new WWE Hall of Famer had steadfastly refused to fight his son despite the younger Mysterio’s antagonising ways but that changed when Dominik chose to get in his mother’s face recently. The former WWE Champion had seen enough and knocked his son to the ground before accepting his WrestleMania challenge.

At the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Dominik Mysterio and his Judgment Day partners Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest walked out before Rey’s speech as the bad blood looks far from being settled.

The report notes that Rey Mysterio will be accompanied by his new LWO partners – the former Legado del Fantasma – for the match. It was also noted that Bad Bunny is listed for a commentary slot on the show and an angle involving Dominik Mysterio had been pitched for him going forward. Bad Bunny will host Backlash in his native Puerto Rico in May.

Interestingly, it is also noted that a special entrance for Dominik had been pitched but it remains to be seen what that could be. If online speculation is to be believed then the match could be one huge tribute to Eddie Guerrero with Rey donning an LWO shirt and Dominik coming to the ring in a lowrider – but that has not been confirmed.
