Big news for AEW.

As reported by Variety, All Elite Wrestling has reached a new multi-year media rights agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery. Although financial terms weren’t disclosed, the deal is said to be worth upwards of $150 million per year.

As per the agreement, Dynamite and Collision will remain on TBS and TNT respectively. However, for the first time ever, AEW programming will stream live on Max and will be available on-demand from January 2025.

Interestingly, there was no mention of Rampage, appearing to confirm the end of the show.

The report from Variety adds:

The deal also includes enhanced distribution rights across social media as well as potential new AEW programming on linear and digital platforms. Furthermore, AEW live pay-per-views will be available on Max later in 2025 at a discounted price per event, with all marketing and promotions of those events exclusively centered on Max.

Tony Khan went on to say that he was “honored” to extend the relationship between the two parties.

“We are honored to announce the extension of our incredible partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. This extension continues the tradition of iconic wrestling events broadcast on TBS and TNT, while also establishing a new legacy for AEW through weekly live streams on Max for years to come.

We thank David Zaslav, Kathleen Finch and everyone at WBD for their tireless support of All Elite Wrestling since its inception, as well as the AEW fans, talent and staff that helped make this possible.”

Meanwhile, Kathleen Finch, chairman and CEO of US Networks for Warner Bros. Discovery said the AEW team have been “incredible partners.”

“Tony Khan and the entire AEW team have been incredible partners, and we are thrilled to strike this expanded agreement to deliver amazing new AEW content and stories to TNT and TBS, as well as bring the thrilling live action to Max for the first time,” said “We are focused on creating fresh and authentic experiences for AEW’s passionate and engaged fanbase while also introducing them to our growing lineup of high-action sports and entertainment at TNT and beyond.”

AEW Celebrating Five Years Of Dynamite

The announcement comes just hours before AEW celebrates the fifth anniversary of its flagship show Dynamite.

The episode will be headlined by a huge match between Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada. In the match, both Okada’s Continental Title and Danielson’s World Championship will be on the line. However, the Continental Title will only be up for grabs during the first 20 minutes of the bout. Matches for the gold are fought under a 20-minute time limit.
