Huge Championship Match Added To WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
The major announcement was made on WWE RAW.
Dominik Mysterio has held the Intercontinental Championship since WrestleMania 41. Over the past few months, Penta and Rusev have attempted to dethrone the Judgment Day member on multiple occasions. However, the latter has always found a way to escape with his title.
Tonight on RAW, Rusev and Penta went head-to-head in a number-one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Title, with the winner facing Dirty Dom at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The bout, however, ended in a no-contest after Los Americanos attacked the two competitors.
Dominik Mysterio Will Defend His Title At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Despite the result of the number-one contender’s match, Adam Pearce informed Dominik Mysterio later on the show that he would still defend his Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The RAW General Manager revealed that Dirty Dom will put the title on the line against both Rusev and Penta in a Triple Threat match.
What’s wrong with you? Penta and Rusev are not going after Los Americanos. Penta and Rusev are going after you. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, you’re gonna defend this Intercontinental Championship against Penta and Rusev in a Triple Threat match.
