Stephanie Vaquer has been having a splendid 2025.

Not only did she debut on the main roster, but she also claimed the WWE Women’s World Championship for the first time at Wrestlepalooza in September.

Since then, she has defended the title several times under different match setups, her latest occurring on the December 29 episode of Monday Night Raw against Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella.

Despite having odds stacked against her, La Primera secured a hard-earned victory by pinning Bella after Rodriguez laid her out with the Tejana Bomb.

Stephanie Vaquer also reached 100 days as champion heading into the match, which is a huge accomplishment considering the depth of talent in the women’s division.

WWE Has Big Rivalries Planned For Stephanie Vaquer In 2026

After a brief stint in AEW, Stephanie Vaquer joined NXT in July 2024, where she won both the Women’s North American Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship.

She also became the first female wrestler in the company to hold both titles together.

Her accomplishments and in-ring athleticism saw her get drafted to the main roster in May 2025.

After a successful first year, WWE plans to keep her in the spotlight alongside some of the company’s greatest female talents.

According to a report by Bodyslam.net, Vaquer may be featured in a rivalry going into WrestleMania 42 against either Becky Lynch or Rhea Ripley.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on April 18 & 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While the 32-year-old has never faced Becky Lynch in a match, Ripley was one of her challengers at the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match during the namesake PLE, which was eventually won by Naomi.
