How WWE Raw Is Reverting Back To Normal On Netflix

Triple H WWE

WWE Raw is heading to Netflix and it seems one big change is on the way that will see the show to return to what fans are used to in one major way.

On January, 6th, 2025, Raw will premiere on Netflix and WWE is pulling out all the stops. While it’s already been announced that John Cena will be involved, it’s been reported that The Rock will also be at the Inuit Dome for the show.

Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat on that show while the final of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship will also take place as well. With plenty of surprises sure to be on offer as well, fans might have been wondering how the company would fit it all in after Raw returned to 2 hours for the dying days of its run on the USA Network, but now we have the answer.

A Longer WWE Raw Is Coming

Dave Meltzer noted in his Daily Update that a WWE higher up has now confirmed that Raw will return to the three hour runtime the show has had since 2012 when it debuts on Netflix:

While everyone expects this, it was confirmed by someone who is a key player in WWE that Raw will be three hours come January to go along with Smackdown being three hours.

WWE has confirmed that SmackDown will also go to three hours in 2025 meaning six hours of main roster WWE action on TV every week in addition to 2 hours of NXT.
