How WWE Has Treated Alexa Bliss As A New Parent
Alexa Bliss opens up on her time in WWE after becoming a parent.
Alexa Bliss announced her pregnancy back in May 2023. In November 2023, she and her partner, Ryan Cabrera, welcomed their daughter, Hendrix Rouge. At the Royal Rumble, the former RAW Women’s Champion returned to in-ring action and opened up about how WWE has treated her as a new parent.
On February 1st, Alexa Bliss made her return to WWE after a two-year hiatus. She had taken time off to give birth and nurture her newborn child. During the Women’s Royal Rumble match, Bliss entered to a loud ovation, but her dreams of headlining WrestleMania 41 were crushed when she was eliminated by Liv Morgan.
Since then, the Five Feet of Fury has been selectively present on WWE programming, making her way back again on SmackDown last week. TMZ got a chance to speak with the WWE Superstar and asked her about her experience working with the Stamford-based company since her return. Bliss had nothing but good things to say about the company, stating that they have been accommodating now and even when she was granted maternity leave.
They’ve been so great about bringing her on the road. She’s got her own, like, set up when we go and she loves it. And it’s been great.
Regarding her time off due to maternity leave, she said,
They were so great about it. I got a whole year with her and it was fantastic.

Alexa Bliss qualifies for the Women’s Money In The Bank match
After a hiatus from the Elimination Chamber PLE, Alexa Bliss returned to WWE SmackDown on the 9th May episode as Zelina Vega’s mystery tag team partner. She and Vega beat Chelsea Green and Piper Niven when Bliss hit the former Women’s United States Champion with the Sister Abigail, laying her out for the three count.
On last week’s episode of the Blue Brand, Alexa Bliss won her Money In The Bank qualifying match when she beat Chelsea Green and Michin in a Triple Threat Match. The Five Feet of Fury became the first woman to seal a spot in the coveted ladder match and will be looking to become a two-time Money In The Bank winner on June 7th.
