How Many WWE Fans Tuned Into The Royal Rumble On Netflix
More than two million fans tuned in to watch the Royal Rumble.
On February 1, WWE held the Royal Rumble in Indianapolis, and the road to WrestleMania is now underway.
Both men’s and women’s Rumble matches were packed with surprise moments and, in one case, a surprise winner. The women’s match saw surprise appearances from Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, and former TNA star Jordynne Grace before Charlotte Flair made her own return to claim victory.
Flair had been out of action for 13 months after suffering a major knee injury.
In the men’s match, Jey Uso claimed a stunning victory by eliminating John Cena. The match featured appearances from the streamer IShowSpeed and TNA World Champion Joe Hendry.
WWE Royal Rumble Viewership Revealed
According to Netflix, the Royal Rumble clocked up 2.1 million views, with fans spending 9,600,000 watching the show. As of February 5, the event ranks at number 10 in the most-watched shows of the week, behind Raw from January 27, and shows such as The Recruit, The Night Agent, and American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson.
It should be noted that these figures don’t include fans who tuned in from the United States, where the event was streamed on Peacock.
In the days after the event, WWE announced the 2025 Royal Rumble broke several company records. This included generating the largest single-night gate for any event in WWE history.
