How Long Alexa Bliss’ New WWE Deal Lasts

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss made a shock return to WWE at the Royal Rumble and now the duration of her new deal with the company has come to light.

Alexa Bliss had not been seen on WWE television since falling to defeat against Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble 2023. The former Raw Women’s Champion revealed a skin cancer diagnosis two months later before giving birth to her first child in November 2023.

As her absence continued, many questions had been raised about her future in the company. Alexa Bliss has teased a return to the ring ahead of the Royal Rumble but reports suggested she still had to work out a deal with WWE.

Reports suggested Bliss wanted a new deal to make her comeback but WWE wanted her to see out her original contract which still had time left on it as a result of her prolonged absence.

Alexa Bliss Sticking With WWE

But a deal was done and Alexa Bliss made her shock return to WWE at the Royal Rumble. Bliss made her entry at number 21 sending the crowd in Indianapolis into raptures. Michael Cole alluded to the online rumours, saying that he thought she wasn’t coming back. Bliss paid tribute to her former on-screen partner Bray Wyatt and carried her doll Lilly to the ring.

It has since emerged that a former WWE star was involved in negotiating Alexa Bliss’ new contract. Fightful Select also revealed that Bliss’ contract is for five years and was only signed on the morning of the Royal Rumble itself. Due to the late nature of the deal coming together, one WWE star was pulled from the Royal Rumble to accommodate Alexa Bliss.
