How Brock Lesnar Could Still Be Playable In WWE 2K24

Brock Lesnar could still be available in WWE 2K24.

On February 21st, the full roster list for WWE 2K24 was released and some huge names including Brock Lesnar, Vince McMahon, and CM Punk were missing.

While CM Punk is expected to be added to the game in the coming months given he only returned to WWE in November, things are much different for McMahon and Lesnar.

This led to speculation that the pair had been pulled from the game in light of the sex trafficking scandal which has implicated both in recent weeks.

In January, Brock Lesnar was implicated in a lawsuit brought against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. Former WWE employee Janel Grant alleged that McMahon had offered her sexual services to an unnamed former UFC Champion and WWE star — believed to be Lesnar.

However, things might not be quite as simple as just removing Lesnar from the game. According to a new report from Insider Gaming, it was too late for 2K to fully remove Lesnar.

Instead, Lesnar will be an unplayable Superstar, but as his character and files remain within the game, players will be able to make him playable with some clever maneuvering.

The report adds that Lesnar likely hasn’t been removed due to the lawsuit coming too close to the game’s release.

WWE 2K24 is due to be released on March 8th, 2024.

Brock Lesnar Pulled From WWE Creative

Brock Lesnar hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since being defeated by Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, but that wasn’t always the plan. Lesnar had been scheduled to return at the Royal Rumble, but his comeback was scrapped after the lawsuit hit the news. Plans for Elimination Chamber were also revised.

In fact, it’s been reported that Brock Lesnar might never return to a WWE ring, and he’s been removed from all creative going forward.
